Power Transmission

Power transmitting is moving the electrical energy from the place of its generation like a power plant to the place of which it is used to preform useful work like an electrical substation or to be distributed through a distribution network. It involves conveying electrical energy from and to different stations with a long distance locations all around using transmission networks. It is also considered to be an assured and efficient way for moving energy around.
Other than the use of power transmitters, electricity can be transferred by radio waves, microwave energy and changing electromagnetic fields but using the common electrical power transmitters is way more economical.
