Switchgears are the protective and regulatory part of the electric power system. It consists of isolators, relays, disconnect fuses or circuit breakers with a purpose of regulating, controlling, defending and isolating electrical equipment and are used to de-energize equipment in order to be able to test them or perform maintenance on them. Also, the power supply can be controlled through switching the buttons on or off. Switchgears are connected directly to the electricity supply system and are helpful in preventing all circuit components damage in case of overload, rapid pace and current fluctuation.
