Oil and gas pumps are mechanical devices that use electrical energy to create hydraulic energy; by creating pressure or suction, in order to transfer oil or gas throughout pipes, bearings and lubricated surfaces to different locations. Pumps can transfer both liquid or gas matters. Other than providing a push to the passing matter through the refinery, the importance of pumps is that it helps in protection of the components of the whole system because it is a key controller in the flow of oil or gas throughout the refinery.
