Valves are devices used to control the flow in pipes or chambers of liquid or gas, by opening or closing or partially obstructing the passage of transported matter. Most common implementations of valves are that they are considered to be a regulatory device for irrigation, industrial controlling process, residential use as in day-to-day use, and high pressure control. They are found regulating many industrial processes like, oil and gas, sewage, mining and water industry. Valves can be either automatically operated using pressure and temperature changes or can be operated manually with levers and handles. Valves help in preventing damage to pumps and compressors caused by changes in flow.
