Types of insulated Sandwich Panel

Insulated sandwich panels are used in many industries such as aerospace, construction and automotive. This article focuses on the use of insulated panels as ready-made elements for the construction industry. but we start with some basic information on sandwich panels.

What is sandwich panel?
Sandwich panels are a good alternative to building materials such as cement and brick in buildings that can be used with complete confidence in the building. A sandwich panel is a structure consisting of interconnected layers that consist of two sheets of metal and a rigid core between them. Due to its similarity to sandwiches, this structure is the most commonly used in making sandwich panel polystyrene (EPS), polyurethane foam (PUR), polyisocyanurate foam (PIR), mineral wool (MRF) or rock wool.

Types of sandwich panels
In general, sandwich panels can be divided into two types of ceiling sandwich panels and wall sandwich panels.

Roof sandwich panel
The roof sandwich panel is installed on the roof of the structures and is placed on beams and steel. The very light weight of these sandwich roofs increases the life of the structural walls. The use of sandwich panels eliminates the need for surface insulation. This product is washable and to

Wall sandwich panel
Wall sandwich panel is a new product in the construction industry. The many advantages of this type of product have caused it to find special fans in the construction industry. Surface sealing, increase the life of the facility, cost-effective, resistant to sunlight and the possibility of relocation are the main features of this product. This product is presented in 3 flexible layers and due to its low thickness, it can be easily wrapped around objects.

Application of sandwich panels
Due to their high quality, sandwich panels are suitable for execution in any structure. Refrigerators, sheds, factories, buildings, schools, hospitals, gyms, prefabricated villas, defense industries and warehouses are some of the places where sandwich panels are used.

In areas with high humidity, water seeps through the valves into the sandwich panel and traps moisture between the outer galvanized sheet and the foam. Trapping water between the final two layers of insulated sandwich panel causes severe corrosion and decay of the sheets. In many cases, this has caused complete corrosion of the sheet and the appearance of the sandwich panel foam.

In other cases, such as the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, due to the suspension of some chemicals in the air and the sitting of these materials on the sandwich panels, the surface of the sandwich panel corrodes after a while and finally destroys the outer layer of the sandwich panel.

Waterproofing for sandwich panels
Due to the current situation in the country, the price of iron is increasing day by day, and this has caused many people to avoid repairing the damaged points of sandwich panels and gables with galvanized sheet or sheet replacement. Sandwich panel waterproofing consists of polymer compounds that, in addition to complete sealing, make the surface impermeable to moisture and prevent chemical damage, decay and rust. In addition to being a waterproofing material, this product prevents the structure from heating up in summer due to the reflection of sunlight and acts as a thermal insulation. This waterproofing acts like sound insulation during rain and also absorbs the sound of droplets hitting the sheets.

As the name implies, the insulated sandwich panel consists of several layers and there are usually two thin sheets in between.

Insulated sandwich panels, composite panels or sandwich panels are offered in a variety of designs. In most cases, the outer shell is made of a galvanized steel sheet. The inner shell can be made of galvanized steel sheet, thin sheet, stainless steel or GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic). Their cores are mostly made of insulating materials such as polyurethane (PUR), polyisocyanurate (PIR) or wool.

The outer and inner layers contribute to the combination of properties used, and the surface bends or breaks thanks to connection of the outer layers, which in turn has a surface stability that softly protects against external factors.

Applications of insulated sandwich panels
Insulated sandwich panels are used in many industries such as aerospace, construction and automotive. This article focuses on the use of insulated panels as ready-made elements for the construction industry.

Insulated sandwich panels are suitable for the building sector and you save time and reduce costs, and you can also use them as walls, ceilings, etc. If the panels come straight from the factory, they are ready for use. In an easy step it can be attached to a structure and at the same time stable walls or ceilings with excellent insulation properties.

Due to the above-mentioned specific characteristics, insulation panels are especially popular in the style of halls, roofs of residential buildings, as well as insulation panels for insulation or also as insulation in the construction of sound walls. Insulated panels with fire core also serve as fire panels.

Types of roof panels
Roof panels have two uses, one as roof insulation and the other as roof. In general, it can be identified by looking at the regular height on the sandwich element. These heights are known as long ridges and make the plate stiff. High stability is suitable for this application. An overlapping flap is located on one side of the roof to ensure a perfect transition between the two roof panels.

ECO roof panels
The type of roof property is ECO roof panels. They are covered on the bottom sheet and not steel. As a result, they are classified as disposable products according to building regulations and need to be used. In addition, they have more advantages for ECO legal ceilings. Foil reliably protects against products such as blends that can affect the environment. As a result, ECO roof sandwich panels are especially suitable for use in agricultural buildings such as stables and warehouses.

Insulated wall panels
Insulated wall panels are made of a liner profile for stable stability instead of long nuts on the ceiling panels. Since there is no overlap due to the lack of top ridge flaps, the panels are connected using a tongue and groove connection that protrudes from the roof trusses. Optionally, connecting screws that are used from outside the view can also be used using a concealed fixed system.

Cold room panels
Cold room panels are the appearance of wall panels. It is usually more insulated than ordinary insulated panels and the joints are of better quality. This makes it ideal for making cold rooms, refrigerators and bed refrigerators. Cold room panels have a secure food cover.
